Adjective SURVIVOR! Tom Crean Edition: Winner Winner, Smarmy Dinner.

It was a long, tedious, and sometimes harrowing journey, but finally, we've selected THE adjective to describe former Marquette coach Tom Crean. Come on down and take a bow; you earned it:

Smarmy

At the outset, I thought SMARMY was a little too easy. As Smokey said to Jack during the LOST finale, when he realized that Jack had taken Jacob's place: "I expected to be a little more surprised. You're sort of the obvious choice." But, fair's fair, and rules are rules, and, as I consider it anew, SMARMY is refreshing in its simplicity and directness.

Tomorrow (maybe), we start with a new target for Round 2. It won't be fast or furious or all that interesting, but it will be a way to pass the time. And, with college basketball more than four months away, isn't that what it's all about?
