Here's an interesting article in this weekend's Wall Street Journal that details Raf's approach to researching games. My favorite tidbit, in perfect Raf fashion: "Most of his research gets done in the morning or early afternoon. Mr. Raftery said he occasionally has "a couple of pops" at dinner, after which he isn't as sharp as his research requires."
