Two fun pieces of information about the Marquette women's basketball team:
1) ESPN.com's Charlie Creme has the Lady Eagles as a 5 seed in the Spokane region of the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship, with a first round matchup against current Sun Belt leader Arkansas-Little Rock.
2) The team is ranked in the AP poll for the first time since the 2006-07 season, jumping in at #23 this week.
The women take the floor again in the Al McGuire Center tomorrow night at 6pm against Villanova.

They're exorcising the demons for the men's team:
first they beat Louisville, then clipped Pitt in OT. I like it.
I’m not smart enough to look at the other stuff and do anything but drool and mumble.
Gotta remember it's women's hoops
Neither of those teams are any good.
And DePaul is undefeated in conference play & ranked #13 in the country headed into Storrs on Saturday.
