Our friends over at Paint Touches haven't been running their blog for long, but they're already breaking news over there. I'll let their tweets tell the story.

BREAKING: #mubb freshman Juan Anderson suspended three games by the NCAA for accepting improper benefits.

Anderson accepted a free ticket to a suite at a Milwaukee Brewers' playoff game from someone other than his legal guardian.

An internal review by the MU compliance staff determined the violation, which was immediately self-reported to the NCAA.

Juan: "I apologize to my teammates and coaches for the mistake I made. My college eligibility is much too valuable for me to risk."

For the record, those games will be tonight's contest against Mount Saint Mary's, Monday's game against Norfollk State, and the first game of the Paradise Jam against Winthrop.
