Top scorer Katherine Plouffe leads the Marquette's women's basketball team (8-5, 0-1 Big East) into Ohio to take on the Rockets of Toledo (7-4) at 11am today. The contest will mark the end of the Golden Eagles' non-conference schedule. Marquette returns from a 10 day layoff looking for their 4th straight win.

Toledo is the reigning WNIT champions and have returned nine letterwinners from that team. Sophomore guard Andola Dortch leads the Rockets in scoring with 13 per contest. Junior forward Lecretia Smith leads the team in rebounds with 4.6/game, while Dortch along with senior guards Courtney Ingersoll and Haylie Linn are all right behind her with 4.5 per outing.

Marquette owns a perfect 3-0 all time record against Toledo, with the last contest ending in a 68-29 win for Marquette in November 2004.
