I was listening to a National program...
They were saying something like the Big East should split their divisions based on football/basketball schools and just basketball only schools.
To me that idea was way too confusing. Notre Dame would be treated like a non-football school I’d assume.

Louisville
Rutgers
Connecticut
Basketball only
Notre Dame
Marquette
DePaul
Georgetown
St. John’s
Villanova

They didn’t really provide reason to make this split, nor did any of their other conversations help me understand why. But in a way it makes sense.
