When you win both of your Big East games in any week of the season, you had a good week. When one of those wins was over a team ranked in the top 25 of both national polls, you had a very good week. When you have a very good week, someone from your team gets named to the Big East Honor Roll.

Marquette fits all of those criteria, and as such, senior forward Jae Crowder was named to the Big East Weekly Honor Roll yesterday. Crowder averaged 16 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.5 steals and 1.5 blocks as Marquette defeated #23/21 Louisville and Providence.

The honor is Crowder's second appearance on the Honor Roll this season. He was previously honored after hitting the game winning 3 pointer against Washington in the Jimmy V Classic.

Crowder was also named the GoMarquette.com Student-Athlete of the Week yesterday, his second such honor this season.
