This week we focus on a bright spot of class and sportsmanship.

Here at Anonymous Eagle, we're hip to all the latest trends on the internet... or so we tell ourselves. We know how much the kids today like to keep in touch and communicate through social media. In particular, we're big fans of the service known the world over as Twitter. Each week, we'll bring you a tweet that we found particularly interesting/funny/thought provoking/ridiculous that has some kind of Marquette connection to it.

During Saturday night's men's soccer match between Marquette and Connecticut, the Huskies scored their first goal as Marquette keeper Charlie Lyon and Connecticut midfielder Jossimar Sanchez violently collided. Sanchez was immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment. He would eventually need two surgeries to treat his injury before he was allowed to leave the hospital and return to Connecticut. That's why it was nice to see this tweet from Lyon on Sunday evening:

I send my thoughts and prayers to injured Jossimar Sanchez. I hope for a quick and full recovery for a very talented player.

Lyon also visited Sanchez in the hospital on Sunday. It's nice to see an outstanding show of class from a player who's having an excellent season.
