The Golden Eagles kept their trip to the east side of Milwaukee as short as possible with a (mostly) easy sweep of the Panthers.
When it takes two full sets to give up enough points to have lost one set, you're doing something right as a team. Marquette jumped on UWM last night in the first two sets 25-15 and 25-11 to take a commanding 2-0 lead before the Panthers made it interesting late before the Golden Eagles closed out the sweep with a 25-22 third set.
Outstanding precision from Marquette combined with terrible accuracy from UWM to allow Marquette to run through the first two sets. Marquette committed just two errors and hit .480 with 27 kills while UWM was countering by hitting .027 while committing 17 errors.
Hey, how about some highlights?
