We'll start with men's soccer, as Andy Huftalin was named to the Big East Honor Roll. Huftalin picked a bad week to score twice against UConn's Andre Blake, as he was denied Offensive Player of the Week honors by Notre Dame's Ryan Finley scoring two goals each against Pittsburgh and #3/#9 Georgetown. Apparently scoring as many goals in a game as Blake has ever given up is not enough.
Moving to women's soccer, Maegan Kelly was rewarded for her recent hot streak by being named Offensive Player Of The Week. Kelly had a goal and three assists during MU's road trip to Providence and Connecticut, including an assist on Marquette's only goal against the Huskies.
Kelsey Mattai's strong senior season continues with a spot on this week's Big East Honor Roll. Mattai made just one hitting error on 28 attacks while recording 17 kills in Marquette's two matches. She had a crazy hitting percentage of .857 (12 for 14 with no errors) in MU's win over Pittsburgh.
