Your Post-Game Dejection Thread: Notre Dame 76, #15/15 Marquette 59
Notre Dame has shot 32.6% from behind the arc this season, ranking them 241st in the country.
The Irish shot 11-23 behind the arc this afternoon to roll to an easy victory over your Marquette Golden Eagles. That's 47.8% for the game. Pat Connaughton was the worst offender, making 5 of his 8 three ball attempts.
Darius Johnson-Odom and Vander Blue tied for a team high for Marquette with 12 points.
We'll have a report live from Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center coming up once Warrior Brad and Mr. Kensington manage to escape from Indiana, but until then, your thoughts on the game are welcome in the comments section below.

This reminds me of what we did to them last year
All our 3’s fell. That being said, I dont see how we couldve won with them hitting everything. Making those bunnies probably wouldnt have hurt us. Sigh.
Time to run over DePaul.
Bad loss.
Don’t compound the problem on Monday.

Sitting gardner better have been a "must sit"
Cuz we desperately need him. Our depth is a huge issue against quality opponents. If gardner plays instead of the wilson/jones/anderson combo id like to think we convert 4-5 of those missed bunnies in the 1st……and this game has a totally different complexion

Speaking of complexions:
there appears to be an alarming shortage of Clearasil in South Bend.

We need gardner
I saw him on campus Friday still on crutches and I knew today wasn’t going to go well, we can handle depaul but after that we need him back
we need gardner for the tourney so if it means missing a few more games now to get closer to 100% then I'm fine with it.
gardner woudn’t have made one bit of difference in the ND game anyways.

This game
Not only sucked my will to live, but apparently my ability to remember to write a recap. Though, I’m pretty confident that no one is dying to rehash this game.
Long story short: The road is a B-I-itch my friend. And eff Pat Connaughton.
We all have to chase one rabbit. If we try to chase two rabbits we won't catch either of 'em.

At least we had good seats for the carnage
Lunardi has MU as a 4 seed playing MTSU in the Ville. FSU is the 5 seed and iOSU is the one in that region.
Question for the crew – is this team better than last year’s team? I still don’t know…
