Buzz Williams had one open scholarship for the fall of 2013 to fill, and it looks like that's taken care of. Today, Brad Winton of JucoRecruiting.com sent out this tweet:

Jameel McKay (2013/F/Indian Hills CC) has given a verbal commitment to Marquette after taking an unofficial visit yesterday.

The 6'8", 200 pound forward is currently attending Indian Hills Community College in Iowa where he was named a NJCAA First Team All-American after averaging 14.6 points and 7.7 rebounds per game in his freshman year. He'll stay at Indian Hills for this coming season and join Marquette in 2013 with two years of eligibility remaining.

The really interesting part about this commitment is that McKay is a graduate of Pulaski High School in Milwaukee, and he'll be arriving on campus at the same time as Deonte Burton (Milwaukee Vincent) and Duane Wilson (Whitefish Bay Dominican). Somehow, Buzz Williams has managed to create one of the best recruiting classes in the country without having to leave the county.
