I was at this game in person, so I was pretty fired up about writing a recap for it. When it ended in a 0-0 tie, I was less excited. But still, I watched the match, so I can talk about it at least. Then I saw that Marquette outshot CMU 22-7 with 11 shots on goal and frustration with spending 2 and a half hours watching a scoreless tie kicked in.
Look, I'll cut you all a deal: I'll stop going to women's soccer matches while Sofie Schunk's 4 match shutout streak stays intact if it allows Marquette to score a goal or two along the way. Deal?
