The Marquette Bat Has Been Apprehended

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

But do we know the whole story as to how it was captured?

The news of the capture comes to us from Marquette associate athletic director Mike Broeker:

There's not a single word of that tweet that's not awesome.

Of course, this does raise the issue of whether Broeker is being honest about how the bat was captured. I present to you this GIF, providing clear visual evidence that there was more to the situation than just playing Thunderstruck:

Of course, just because the bat is gone, it doesn't mean that we can't have some fun with the whole situation.
