The Golden Eagles take another swing at their first home win of 2013 with tonight's home game against the Blue Demons.

Tip off at the McGuire Center's at 7pm, but if you can't make it out, you can catch the action on TWC Sports 32.

In their last game, Marquette was handed a double dose of bad news. Not only did they blow a halftime lead and lose 72-54 to Rutgers, but junior forward Courtney Thomas left the game in the first half after suffering an Achilles injury. She's currently listed as "out indefinitely," but that makes her the fourth Golden Eagle that will miss this game. Apiew Ojulu is still out indefinitely with a right foot injury, and both Gabi Minix and Ashley Santos are out for the year with after ACL surgery.

The Big East season started off rocky for DePaul, as they alternated wins and losses. Wins in the last three games have the Blue Demons trending in a positive direction. Anna Martin is DePaul's leading scorer by average (16.2 ppg), but she will miss today's contest with a left knee injury. Brittany Hrynko and Jasmine Penny both average more than 14 points a game, and Katherine Harry is just short of double digits (9.8 ppg) while leading the Blue Demons in rebounding (11.3 rpg).
