After missing on the post season for the first time in 10 seasons last year, the Golden Eagles earn an at large bid in the Women's National Invitational Tournament.
For a season that started out with a shock of bad news when Gabi Minix went out with an ACL tear after just one game, things have ended up in a positive direction for the Golden Eagles. They finished the season with a record of 16-15, including 7-9 in the Big East, a three win improvement from last year. You can add a post season berth to the list of promising developments this season, as Marquette earned at at-large bid in the Women's National Invitational Tournament!
The Golden Eagles will face off with Northern Iowa this Friday at the Al McGuire Center. Game time is yet to be decided, but you can start buying your tickets starting tomorrow morning at 9am, either in person at the Al McGuire Center or by calling 414-288-4668. Tickets are $10 for the lower bowl seats and the two sections in the upper deck with chairback seats, and $7 for the general admission bench seats.
