Utah 98, Brooklyn 69 - The Jazz had five guys score in double figures, with the most impressive outing coming from Jeremy Evans, who scored 15 points and pulled down nine rebounds. Chris Wright had a game high 20 points in a losing effort for the Nets. Jerel McNeal made his summer league debut, scoring five points, grabbing a rebound, dishing three assists and snaring four steals.
Oklahoma City 74, Philly 62 - Jeremy Lamb torched the 76ers' defense for 32 points in the last game for the Thunder before Championship Day. Dwight Buycks did not have anything close to that great of a game, missing all four of his field goals in 14 minutes. Buycks did have three assists and a steal, but he coughed it up three times as well.
Houston 85, Boston 78 - Vander Blue got the start in this one for the Rockets, going just over 31 minutes while scoring 16 points on 5-15 shooting. Blue tacked on six rebounds and an assist as well. Terrence Jones had 17 points to lead Houston while Kelly Olynyk continued his summer league dominance by putting together a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Darius Johnson-Odom did not play in this one, as he was already off to Las Vegas to prepare for his summer league stint with the Nuggets.
Today's NBA TV schedule is kind of lonely, as Blue is forgoing the rest of the Orlando league to head to Vegas as well. He'll be with the Grizzlies once those games get started. As best as I can tell, the only game tomorrow of interest to Marquette fans will be the 10am Central contest between Jerel McNeal's Utah Jazz and Indiana.
