The Marquette Related Tweet Of The Week: 7/23-7/29

Intense Bond is intense. - Maggie Casey/MarquetteImages.com

And now, the adventures of Bond Shymansky, outdoorsman...

Here at Anonymous Eagle, we're hip to all the latest trends on the internet... or so we tell ourselves. We know how much the kids today like to keep in touch and communicate through social media. In particular, we're big fans of the service known the world over as Twitter. Each week, we'll bring you a tweet that we found particularly interesting/funny/thought provoking/ridiculous that has some kind of Marquette connection to it.

It's summertime, and that means there's plenty of time for Marquette's athletes and coaches to fit in some recreation time before school starts up again in about a month. For example, Marquette head volleyball coach Bond Shymansky did some communing with nature this week:

Nice catch, although we're glad to hear that you won't let your outdoors success take you away from your success indoors on the Al McGuire Center court.

Speaking of the Al McGuire Center court, we'll be back on Friday with some predictions on the Big East preseason volleyball awards after checking in on women's soccer on Wednesday and men's soccer on Thursday! We're just over three weeks away from the first Weekend Preview of the school year...

Have you seen a Marquette related tweet that you'd like to see in this spot in the future? Let us know on Twitter or send the direct URL link to anon.eagle@gmail.com and be sure to send your Twitter tag along with it so we can give you credit for finding it!
