Anthony Davis Throwing Down Dunks... At Marquette???

Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sport

Yuuuuuuuuup

I love the 21st Century.  This modern society allows NBA players to post quick videos of themselves doing all sorts of whacky stuff at practice.  Just yesterday, Dwyane Wade sent out some Instagram videos of LeBron James throwing down all kinds of crazy dunks at practice.

That led to New Orleans Pelicans guard Anthony Morrow posting video of his teammate Anthony Davis matching one of LeBron's dunks by bouncing a ball off of a wall at their practice session today:

Well, would you look at that.  Mr. Davis and the Pelicans are using the Al McGuire Center for their practice before they play the Milwaukee Bucks tomorrow night.

I have to say, it's quite nice to see NBA teams make use of the facilities in downtown Milwaukee.  I could be mistaken, but this is the first time that we've seen an NBA team without a tie to Marquette using MU's practice gym.  I remember the Knicks and Steve Novak, as well as the Bulls and Jimmy Butler use the Kasten Gym.  I imagine that it has to be a nice little side benefit for Marquette's student athletes to have a chance to rub shoulders with current NBA players.

Bonus good news: Super creepy Pelicans mascot Pierre was not at the McGuire Center because he busted his beak and was undergoing surgery today.
