Two Golden Eagles Named Big East Field Athletes Of The Week


Kristen Gaffey was named the Women's Field Athlete of the Week by posting the best shot put throw in the league this season and the second best discus throw in the Big East as well. Gaffey's discus toss was the third best throw in MU history.

Brett Hardin earned the men's version by recording the second best hammer throw in the Big East in 2014 by tossing his career best 58.66 meters.
