12.6 Morning Coffee: Badger Hate Week Begins

Sure, there's a Marquette game tomorrow night, but honestly nobody cares about that game. It's time to start our first annual Badger Hate Week! What does that actually mean? I can't really disclose, but I will say that Rubie has a post on Bo (A)Ryan. I'll just leave it at that.

Sad to hear that Hank Raymonds passed away this morning.

The Huskers got hosed by the Big 12 one last time on Sunday. If they had won on Saturday night, the point would be moot, but they didn't. So instead of facing Iowa in a preview of the Big 10, they get to play Washington who they already beat by 35 points this season AND they also play them the third week of next season. Good riddance.

Rubie is accused of being overly negative about Marquette.
Both have Internet handles based on Hispanic people / bail bondsmen.
Both of them, in real life, are named Jamie. Coincidence? Hmmm.

Random Thoughts on the Longwood game:
- Longwood isn't very good.
- Jamail Jones and DJO missing wide open dunks were headscratchers.
- When Reggie Smith hit his three-pointer, Buzz was shaking his head as if to say "that's not the shot you should be taking"
- Erik Williams playing four minutes tells you all you need to know.
- Chris Otule can score often against players smaller than him.
- The return of Joe Fulce was very, very encouraging.
