Your Post-Game Jubilation Thread: No. 10/10 Marquette 64, Milwaukee 50

It wasn't a win for the scrap book, but YOUR Marquette Golden Eagles got off the mat after Monday's disappointing loss to LSU with a 64-50 grinder over a subzero-cold Milwaukee Panther squad that couldn't buy a bucket all night. Marquette only managed 39% shooting from the floor for the game, but that was more than enough, as Milwaukee slumped to a miserable 27% shooting night overall, including a 4-28 performance from three-point range.

The shooting wasn't helped by some mind-bogglingly awful officiating that seemed to take both teams out of their element. There were three technical fouls called, Darius Johnson-Odom somehow managed to foul out of the game, and the refereeing was generally an inconsistent mess. Marquette radio analyst George Thompson summed up the officiating tersely -- and perfectly -- when he sighed early in the second half:

"These refs, man. They suck."

With tonight's win and the earlier victories over UW-Madison and UW-Green Bay, Marquette takes the belt as the Undisputed Champions of Wisconsin in 2011. Mr. Kensington will have your full recap in the morning, but for now, we let the GOAT -- or, at least, Will Smith as the GOAT -- do the talking for us:
