Let's check in with the former Golden Eagles currently active in the NBA Playoffs, shall we?

The Memphis Grizzlies beat Steve Novak's San Antonio Spurs last night 104-86 to take a 3-1 series lead.  Novak saw 5 minutes of action and grabbed 1 rebound.

Wesley Matthews' Portland Trail Blazers fell to the Dallas Mavericks 93-82 last night.  Wes posted 8 points on 3 of 7 shooting in 36 minutes of play and disappointed Jim McIlvaine by not snagging a rebound.

No action last night for the Miami Heat, but Dwyane Wade's team returns to action tomorrow night looking to eliminate the Philadelphia 76ers.

Doc Rivers has the only NBA team resting right now, as he coached the Boston Celtics to a 4 game sweep of the New York Knicks.

In Marquette University athletics news, women's basketball is looking for a new assistant coach as Cara Consuegra has been named head coach at UNC-Charlotte.

Both the men's and women's tennis teams are preparing for the Big East Tournament this week.  The women's team earned a 5 seed and a first round matchup with 12 seed Connecticut on Thursday, while the 6th seeded men start with 3 seed South Florida on Friday.

Women's soccer improved to a 4-0-1 record on their spring schedule with a 3-2 win over 2010 NCAA Champion Notre Dame.

Men's soccer has posted a 6-0-1 record on their spring schedule while outscoring opponents 27-1.  Goalkeeper David Check has yet to allow a goal in spring play.
