2011 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship Game Open Thread

After 66 games, we're left with two teams competing for the national championship: The 9th place team from the Big East and the 2nd place team in the Horizon League. Two teams that went a combined 2-3 against teams based in Milwaukee.

Wait, what?

Well, as the cliche goes, this is why you play the games. GET BENT, BCS.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm cheering for UConn. Between conference solidarity and the fact that my 3 year old son has become inexplicably fascinated with Kemba Walker, I'm left with no choice. Plus, the entertainment value of UConn finishing the season at 9-9 in Big East regular season play and 23-0 in every other game is just way too much to pass up.

Tip off is at 8:23pm Central time. The game will be immediately followed by a incredibly corny line from Jim Nantz. Following that, we will have the restoration of order to the universe as CBS has elected to go back to the Luther Vandross version of One Shining Moment. Over/under on Marquette appearances in the video package: +/- 2.5.
