I'll admit I haven't read much of Tom Enlund's work in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel this season. Between being able to watch most of the games and listening to the podcasts that the athletic department puts up from Buzz's post game press conferences, I don't have much desire to track down a newspaper and read what's in it about Marquette. But yesterday, I came across a copy of the sports section and thought I'd check out what Enlund wrote about the South Florida game.
And then I got four paragraphs in.
Largest margin of victory? Let me put it this way: No, no, no, no, no, and no.
Y'know what? I'm willing to overlook this. I'm sure this is a simple editing error. There was some cutting and pasting, a little rearranging going on, and somehow, the phrase "in Big East play" disappeared into the ether. There. No-Prize issued, I've got it all solved.
THE LAST SCORE GAME. So no one's editing this thing, either. Never mind. I tried. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. This is the same crew of jokers that caused this to pop up on the #mubb stream on Twitter 53 minutes after I stood in the BC and posted a tweet about the final score:
Please come back, Todd! Some of us don't care about any other Wisconsin sports and miss your quality work on the Marquette beat!
