A few minutes ago, Deonte Burton became the third member of Marquette's heralded 2013 recruiting class to ink his national letter of intent:
Local product Deonte Burton is the third signee of the 2013 #mubb class, joining John Dawson and Duane Wilson.

Burton's commitment follows the earlier signings of Whitefish Bay Dominican's Duane Wilson and New Mexico point guard John Dawson.
Burton is tabbed as a four-star recruit on Rivals, ranked 13th amongst small forwards in the class of 2013. ESPN ranks Burton 42nd nationally, and Scout.com also has Burton as the 13th-best small forward in 2013.
Burton began his career at Milwaukee Vincent, but transferred to Brewster Academy in New Hampshire for his sophomore season. After his mom was diagnosed with cancer, DB returned to Vincent, where he averaged 21 and 10 for a squad that finished the year 17-7 in Milwaukee's City Conference.
Burton verbally committed to Marquette last September.
