Marquette's Official Announcement Of All Five Signings

You can check out the official press releases for each player on, including quotes from Buzz on each player. I'm not going to print those quotes all here, so head over to the official website and check it out.

What is worth noting from the releases is the national ranking of the recruiting class:

Williams and his staff are also in possession of a consensus top-10 recruiting class, which marks the third nationally ranked group since he took over as head coach in 2008-09. rates MU’s signees as the seventh-best in the country, followed by (7th), (9th), (9th) and (10th).

Three things here: 1) I don't know what the difference is between and, 2) The Rivals ranking doesn't include Jajuan Johnson and 3) the ranking doesn't include John Dawson or Johnson.

That said, Rivals, ESPN & CBS Sports have Marquette as the third best recruiting class in the Big East, behind only Memphis and Louisville, while Scout has MU second, with only Memphis beating MU out for best recruiting class in the conference.
