5 more days. The season is almost upon us.

Michael Hunt had a nice Q&A with Buzz in the Sunday paper. I realize I'm in the minority, but I read it in the actual newspaper. It was the top story above the fold. On Packers Game day. After Brandon Jennings hit a game winner. Buzz and Marquette was the top story. Allotting that much real estate during the Packers season to the team is fantastic.

The commit of Jajuan Johnson cause a very smart friend of mine to tweet this:

Final 4? NOT A SINGLE PLAYER HAS PUT ON A JERSEY YET. Way to put ridiculous expectations on these kids. So if they don't reach the Final 4, are they failures? What have we learned over the past 5 years? Don't count your chickens before the eggs hatch. Listen, if you're gonna get worked up about where some 17 year old kid has decided to play basketball, be my guest. I realize recruiting hype is a necessary evil, but I'm going to enjoy the players that already have a uniform on. I much prefer dealing with the tangible.
