Are You Ready For National Marquette Day?

"Big game on Saturday, Jamil. Gotta beat them Bearcats."

Saturday is the yearly festivities to celebrate all things Marquette University: National Marquette Day!

After last year's event annoyed Syracuse fans beyond belief, we turn to an old foe to catch the brute force of the power of Marquette Nation: The University of Cincinnati Bearcats. Marquette and Cincinnati share a long and storied rivalry going back to the Great Midwest Conference days, and it's nice to be able to have a game between two top tier Big East teams for this year's National Marquette Day.

Join us after the jump, and we'll discuss how you can celebrate!

As far as the festivities go, obviously the best place to celebrate would be in the Bradley Center. As of 1:50pm Central time, there are just FIVE tickets left for the game. If you're willing to pay above face value for tickets on the secondary market, our friends at TiqIQ have rummaged up 66 tickets varying in price from $29 for Section 419 Row R to $188 for Section 215 Row N.

For those of you who can't make it into the BC, there are a number of locations with official National Marquette Day parties. And it's not just limited to the continental United States! Anchorage, Alaska? COVERED. Honolulu, Hawaii? GOT IT. London, England? WE GOT YOU. Federated States of Micronesia? WE'VE GOT JESUITS FOR YOU.

Last but not least, don't forget to vote for your favorite BigNoggin for Saturday's game. As of this writing, it's currently a three way tie between Brian Scalabrine, The Brown M&M, and Fumble, the MVP of the Puppy Bowl. I personally voted for Cee Lo, but don't let that influence your vote.
