With March Madness at a fever pitch, the announcement of a spring slate of matches on the pitch slid by us.
But no longer!
Marquette's men's soccer team has already played one intra-squad scrimmage as part of their spring slate and they'll reconvene for their first competitive match later this month against Northern Illinois at Valley Fields. Another scrimmage on the first day of April will pass the time until two road matches in Chicago against UIC and Loyola. A game against a squad of MU alumni comes next, followed by a neutral site game against UW-Parkside. Everything wraps up at the end of April with the Wisconsin Division 1 Challenge hosted by Marquette. All four D1 programs will be at Valley Fields for a 1 day tournament. Marquette will start off with Milwaukee and then face either Wisconsin or Green Bay, based on who wins and loses.
