3.3 Championship Week Update

We start handing out automatic bids to the NCAA Tournament today! Today we start filling out the field of 68! Basketball Christmas is coming!

Title games in the Atlantic Sun, Big South and Ohio Valley conference will be held today. Bubble teams will keeping a close eye on the OVC title game, as Murray State faces off with the only team to beat them this year, Tennessee State. A TSU win means there's one less available at large spot.

In last night's upset action, Florida Gulf Coast got past Mercer to reach the ASun finals, UNC-Wilmington got the best of James Madison in the CAA, Butler stomped UW-Milwaukee in the Horizon League, both 5 seeds in the SoCon got past the 4 seeds, and San Francisco pushed Loyola Marymount out of the WCC tournament.

As far as the Ivy League goes, after last night's action, Harvard can clinch the autobid with a win today at Cornell and a Penn loss at home to Yale. The Harvard-Cornell game will be on ESPN3 at 6pm Central.
