We had no new bids handed out yesterday to distract us from whatever that was at the Garden last night. Even worse, we will have no bids handed out tonight, either. Conferences have smartly decided to either hold off or arrange for their title games to be played on Saturday, when more people will be watching. Can't say I blame them.

In any case, there's a gigantic pile of basketball going on all day today and crazy things are happening all over the country. The Pac-12's #1 seed, Washington, has already gone out and of course it wouldn't be Championship Week if Virginia Tech wasn't in the conversation. While the Hokies finished in 10th place in the ACC and won't earn an at large bid, they did upset #7 seed Clemson yesterday to earn themselves a spot in the quarterfinals against Duke. Can you imagine what will happen if they beat Duke and get to the semifinals?
