The Marquette Related Tweet Of The Week: 8/21-8/27

New, comments

Here at Anonymous Eagle, we're hip to all the latest trends on the internet... or so we tell ourselves. We know how much the kids today like to keep in touch and communicate through social media. In particular, we're big fans of the service known the world over as Twitter. Each week, we'll bring you a tweet that we found particularly interesting/funny/thought provoking/ridiculous that has some kind of Marquette connection to it.

Hit the jump, and we'll get to this week's installment!

As much as I enjoy Twitter, it's probably not for everyone. As it turns out, even people that use Twitter can find it to be more of a distraction than they prefer to have in their life. One of those people turns out to be Marquette junior guard Vander Blue.

Hey, if turning off Twitter until April results in Vander making the same statistical improvements over last year that he made from freshman to sophomore year, I'm all for it.

In related news, this brings about a new sub-feature to Tweet Of The Week: Vander Watch! Each week we'll check in and see how he's doing on his sabbatical from Twitter. Here's the first installment!

VANDER WATCH: So far, so good.
