There's been a lot of this in the last three games for Charlie Lyon.

Bank holidays don't stop the Big East from handing out weekly awards. Yesterday the conference announced the weekly awards for men's soccer, women's soccer, and women's volleyball and Marquette players earned recognition on all three lists.

Senior defender Ally Miller was tabbed as the women's soccer Defensive Player Of The Week after anchoring a defense that shut out Northwestern and scoring what would turn out to be the game winning goal in the Golden Eagles' only match of the week. Sophomore keeper Charlie Lyon was named men's soccer Goalkeeper Of The Week by nature of shutting out UIC and Drake while making eight saves. Women's volleyball put Elizabeth Koberstein on the Weekly Honor Roll for being named MVP of the Xavier Invitational.
