Marquette junior guard Vander Blue has been named to the Big East Weekly Honor Roll.
That's quite the impressive accomplishment, as Marquette only played one game last week. Blue recorded a quietly efficient 22 points, three rebounds and four assists in MU's overtime win against Pittsburgh on Saturday, including 8-8 from the charity stripe in the extra session.
This is the second straight week that a Marquette player has earned a weekly honor from the Big East this season, with Davante Gardner picking up an Honor Roll appearance one week ago.
