Here at Anonymous Eagle, we're hip to all the latest trends on the internet... or so we tell ourselves. We know how much the kids today like to keep in touch and communicate through social media. In particular, we're big fans of the service known the world over as Twitter. Each week, we'll bring you a tweet that we found particularly interesting/funny/thought provoking/ridiculous that has some kind of Marquette connection to it.
One of the nice things about Marquette is the size of the campus. The university owned part is really quite small, and the associated local area isn't that far flung. One of the minor upsides to that is you see Marquette's student athletes roaming about campus fairly regularly, as we've discussed in the past. I would imagine that if you see them not up to much in particular that most of them would be fairly open to taking a picture or seven with someone who asked nicely.
Which brings us to Tweet Of The Week.

Okay then.
I have questions.
- Is this a thing that's cool now? Taking pictures of people when they're not paying attention? I mean, if you REALLY want to take a picture of the dude, go ask him if it's cool, y'know?
- We can't let the man get a burrito in peace?
- And what's with ninja-ing a picture of the man AND THEN tagging him in the tweet with the picture? Defeats the purpose, doesn't it?
I guess I should be fair to young Taylor here and point out that Mr. Otule has actually favorited the tweet, so I guess everything is cool. It's just that when I saw the tweet in the #mubb stream combined with the #GoodPicture, I didn't quite expect to see this.
Your thoughts are always welcome in the comments section.
