The Dolphins jump out to a 5-0 lead and use the early margin to their advantage to defeat the Golden Eagles.

10 minutes without a shot and seven turnovers in the first quarter ultimately doomed Marquette on their first game of their Spring Break road trip as they fell to Jacksonville 13-7.

MU was down 4-0 after the first quarter after getting outshot 15-5, but they responded in the second 15 minutes, outscoring JU 4-3 to cut the margin to just 7-4. Jacksonville outscored MU 6-2 in the second half, though, and that was only because of a last second goal by Tyler Melnyk. The good news is that both of Marquette's goals in the second half came on the man advantage.

Cameron Mann and Dakota Rohlin both had two goals and an assist to lead the Dolphins' attack. Conor Gately had a goal and four assists to lead MU in points, while Bryan Badolato and Connor Bernal both had two goals to lead the Golden Eagles in that department.
