The Seven's separation from the football schools was made officially official today, as the league presidents have voted to confirm it. We now know that The Seven will be known as the Big East next year. We don't know anything else, but, and this is the point I'm getting to, it seems apparent that VCU will not be getting an invitation to join The Seven. So, they're out of the Watch this week.
We proceed with the last check of the brackets before the Big East tournament starts later today and more importantly, the selection committee releases the official bracket on Sunday evening. Let's see what we have...
