Today, head coach Steve Wojciechowski puts his first official stamp on the future of the Marquette men's basketball program. It's the first day of the fall signing period, where recruits can turn their verbal commitments into signed, sealed, and delivered commitments.
As the Journal Sentinel's Matt Velazquez conveniently rounded up last night, all four of Wojciechowski's recruits in the class of 2015 - Henry Ellenson, Haanif Cheatham, Nick Noskowiak, and Matt Heldt - are expected to submit their letters of intent today. In fact, Ellenson got the business aspect of the day out of the way before school started up in Rice Lake:

Based on the silence coming out of the McGuire Center since then, it appears that we won't be getting any official comment on the recruiting class until the press conference starting at 2:30pm Central time. Conveniently, it'll be streamed through YouTube, which means you can come right back here and watch it:
As of right now, Marquette's recruiting class is ranked #4 in the country by Scout (they love themselves some Matt Heldt), #5 in the country by 247 Sports, #4 by ESPN, and #6 by Rivals. There are, of course, a number of uncommitted recruits, so things can change, as can Marquette's recruiting class. For the time being, Wojciechowski has one unassigned scholarship for the fall of 2015.
It's also the fall signing period for women's basketball and for every other sport that's not soccer, so if we get any news about those classes, we'll be sure to pass that along to you as well.
