Raptors 89, Lakers 78 - Dwight Buycks got the start for Toronto and played well, scoring 14 points on 4-12 shooting and dishing a game high five assists, but the story of the game was John Shurna.  The Northwestern University product came off the bench for the Raps and scored 21 points on 5-8 shooting behind the three point line.  The Lakers got 21 points from Jordan Clarkson in the losing effort.

Spurs 85, Kings 79 - San Antonio used a 30-11 third quarter to launch themselves into control of the game and a 20-15 fourth quarter wrapped things up in favor of the Spurs.  Austin Daye was the money player for the Spurs, finishing with 14 points, nine rebounds, and three assists.  Nik Stauskas and Quincy Acy both had 14 points for the Kings to lead their team.  Vander Blue played 13 minutes for the Spurs, but he made just one of his five shots to finish with two points.  He also grabbed two offensive rebounds and had a steal as well.

Pelicans 83, D-League Select 81 - Trent Lockett's freshly earned master's degree from Marquette didn't weigh him down here, as he played a game high 35 minutes while scoring 13 points and adding nine rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  It wasn't enough for the D-League Select team, though, as the Pelicans ripped off a 21-2 run over the final four minutes to steal the victory on a three-pointer from Josh Carter with three seconds left to play.  Russ Smith had the assist on the winning bucket and finished with a game high 20 points.
