Chicago 107, Minnesota 73 - Let's be honest: It's impressive that the Bulls have managed to tally over 100 points in two of their three games, given that the Summer League plays 10 minutes quarters instead of the NBA usual 12 minute periods.  A large part of that scoring prowess can be derived from Doug McDermott.  McBuckets had another outstanding game, hitting on seven of his 13 shots, including going 4-7 behind the three point line.  He finished with a game high 20 points, and also had five rebounds and six assists in his free time.  Davante Gardner had just over five minutes of action for Chicago, where he hit both three point attempts that he made to finish with eight points and three rebounds.

Washington 85, Miami 83 - The Wizards exploded out to an 18 point lead after the first 10 minutes and then spent the rest of the game fending off the advances of the Heat.  If you were a college hoops fan watching this game, you probably figured that the Heat were going to end up winning when Otto Porter made a bad pass with just seconds left and the ball ended up in the hands of Shabazz Napier.  But Napier's three pointer missed, Washington grabbed the carom, and escaped with a perfect 3-0 record in pool play.  Glen Rice, Jr., had a game high 24 points to lead the Wizards, who also got 19 points from Porter.  The Heat effort was led by 22 points from James NunnallyJamil Wilson was a featured reserve for Washington, playing just over half the game in total.  Wilson finished with 10 points on 4-6 shooting and also snared two rebounds.
