The first College Gameday of the season comes to us this morning from Ames, Iowa, with a main event game on the Mothership of Kansas at Iowa State. That one is just one of three games in the Big 12 today between two ranked opponents. That's insane. There's just one other game on national TV today between two ranked opponents, and that's right off the bat this morning between Duke and Louisville.
ESPN does a much better job focusing on college hoops today than they have the past few weeks, but we're still losing broadcast time to the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl (which I presume is just a dippy college all-star football game) and a college hockey game. We do get three games broadcast on ESPNews, so maybe I shouldn't complain too loudly.
