ESPN brings back their 24+ hour Tip Off Marathon for another season, and as such, we're giving you a space to talk about everything that's going on. We'll also keep you up to speed with any interesting tweets or vines and so forth that may transpire through the course of the marathon.
In addition, Tuesday night is also the first night of the Gavitt Tipoff Games, so we'll just fold that bad boy right into the whole shebang for you, too.
I'm calling this thing a live blog, but I make no guarantees about coming anywhere close to watching the overnight games. BYU might hold my attention for a while, but Nevada-Hawaii holds no interest for me, and with Brian Wardle no longer coaching Green Bay, East Tennessee State hosting the Phoenix isn't doing anything for me, either. We'll see what happens, though.
Here's your schedule for the marathon and the Gavitt Tipoff Games, plus anything on a national broadcast on Monday or Tuesday night:

11:35pm: Look, it's not from a game that's officially in the Tipoff Marathon, but I'm including it anyway because it's BANANAS.

11:41pm: Also not part of the marathon, but also insane.
Meet UNLV frosh Derrick Jones. He may be the best dunker in the universe (Zach LaVine aside) https://t.co/ibrekoG61A pic.twitter.com/FWClfQNr9v

Although UNLV needs to stop playing chump schools like that.
2:14am: I'm really impressed with the number that Long Beach is doing on BYU. Just outclassing them all over the floor. ADDED BONUS: I forgot that Gabe Levin ended up at Long Beach!
8:31am: Yep, sleep won last night, and easily. Sorry, Nevada-Hawaii. You look like you had an interesting ending, but I would have given up on you at the half anyway. UWGB-ETSU had a high flying ending, and that looked like fun.
9:44am: Neither Valpo nor Rhode Island are not going to break 20 points in the first half. They aren't even at 30 combined points with 3 minutes left.
9:53am: I was wrong! A buzzer beater three gives Rhody the 20-18 halftime lead! wheeeeeeeeeee
10:00am: OH MY GOD ESPN is still running the same halftime package they were running nine hours ago. IS NO ONE AT WORK THIS MORNING?
11:08am: Rhode Island gets two solid looks at a three to send their game to overtime, but Valpo prevails 58-55. Now we have to wait 52 minutes before Alabama-Dayton starts. *sigh*
1:13pm: After a run and a lunch break, WE'RE BACK! And Alabama's down 20 to Dayton.

1:52pm: PBP guy for Dayton-Alabama: "Got a text from a friend saying it was a great day to be a stay at home dad." As someone who works a non-traditional work schedule, I can't argue with that.
2:31pm:
HIGHLY impressed by this atmosphere at Auburn Arena right now.

Yup, it is totally bananas in that building, and given that it's the middle of the afternoon there, that's pretty impressive.
3:10pm: I'm watching through WatchESPN on my desktop computer. I just watched a MetroPCS ad that ran on a loop at least six times in row. It was not a positive experience.
3:25pm: OH GOD THE METROPCS AD IS BACK MAKE IT STOP.
