The way it works is that if you win a conference tournament, you head to the national championship.  That's the case for Marquette's men's golf team, as they'll be headed to Noblesville, Indiana, next weekend to participate in the regional round of the 2015 NCAA tournament.

Marquette will be the #12 seeded team out of the 14 teams participating in this regional, and one of just six teams that earned an automatic bid to this particular location.  In addition to those five man teams, there will be five individuals participating in the regional, including Xavier's Jose Montano.   It will be a 54 hole tournament, with the five low teams and the low player that isn't on one of those five teams advancing to the NCAA finals at The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Florida.

Ball State University is the host for this tournament, and it will be played at The Sagamore Club.  The Jack Nicklaus designed course tops out at 6,750 yards from the championship tees and rates as a par-72 course.  Play begins on May 14, and pairings for the first round will be announced at a later date.
