Detroit 90, Indiana 65 - The Pacers went down to their third straight loss in Summer League play on Wednesday when they got absolutely blasted by the Pistons.
Stanley Johnson went bananas for Detroit, notching 20 points and 10 rebounds in just 26 minutes. The Pistons were up by eight after the first quarter and only suffered a losing quarter in the third period, trailing the Pacers 16-15 in that frame.
Over the past few recap days, we've pointed out how Trent Lockett hasn't been starting but still comes away with more minutes played that most of the guys on either side. That changed here, as Lockett found himself in the starting lineup for Indiana, but only played 18 minutes. He missed his only shot, a three-point attempt, and snared just one rebound and handed out one assist. Myles Turner had another great game for Indiana, scoring 23 points and grabbing eight rebounds.
Up Next: The Pacers have one last chance to notch a win before Championship Day on Friday. They'll take on the Orlando Blue squad at noon Central time later today.
