On Wednesday, Marquette completed their European trip with a 132-75 win over Sam Basket Massagno. 27 minutes after the game ended, the official Twitter account for men's basketball posted this video.
Plenty to celebrate after the win, including news from @steve_wojo on @H25_Cheatham #mubb pic.twitter.com/syN9bbpxKU

You have got to be kidding me.
Yes, that's right, literally as Marquette's European trip came to an end, the NCAA cleared freshman Haanif Cheatham to play, including any exhibition games on foreign soil... except Marquette doesn't have any of those left to play.
It was just 10 days ago that Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Cheatham was not cleared to play by the NCAA freshman clearinghouse, and more importantly, that the NCAA had informed Marquette that it was not likely that Cheatham would be cleared by the end of the trip. AND YET THEY MANAGED TO (kind of) PULL IT OFF.
Get bent, NCAA.
