On Friday night, Marquette men’s basketball held off their practice for the day until 6pm to allow season ticket holders to filter their way into the Bradley Center to watch the team in action. As a part of the festivities for the evening, the team let the fans in attendance get a look at the gold iteration of the centennial uniforms that they’ll be wearing this year.

Say, that looks like an awful lot of letters on the back of Matt Heldt’s #12 jersey.
Love the golds. Best #mubb jersey revealed yet pic.twitter.com/aMYJ11WvNP

Oh, I see what’s going on here. Nicely done, Nike and Jordan Brand.
I have to say, that’s the best looking jersey of the three we’ve seen so far: this one, navy blue, and white. It’s not surprising that it’s the best looking one, as the gold jerseys were the best looking set of the previous uniforms, too. We’ll still have to wait to see what it looks like in use, of course, and there’s still the championship blue version and the Nike N7 kit that they’ll wear against Western Carolina yet to debut.
I wonder if there’s reason to be excited about future reveals....
Patience @therealConnelly, patience.

WELL THEN, MR. DEPUTY ATHLETIC DIRECTOR, we’ll just have to keep our eyes peeled for future installments.
You guys wanna see some highlights from the practice?
