YOUR Marquette Golden Eagles shredded the Commodores for 56 points in the second half while allowing just 31 en route to a 95-71 victory in the Veterans Classic at the United States Naval Academy.

MU overcame a rocky first half littered with offensive fouls on illegal screens and a 35% offensive rebounding rate by Vandy to end up the victor at the final horn. Jajuan Johnson had a game high 21 points in the first game of his senior season, while Luke Fischer finished with 18 points and seven rebounds to kick off his final campaign in blue and gold.
