Yesterday was totally nanners, wasn't it?
First, the Connecticut-Cincinnati game that went to 4 overtimes because of this exchange with 0.8 seconds left.
Jalen Adams from 80 feet to force a fourth overtime. https://t.co/y6pjIZNjsQ

Then Kansas' Wayne Selden killed a guy.
Wayne Selden posterized a defender into another dimension and everyone lost their minds: https://t.co/zLW9Qqn8Qw https://t.co/IVzd8Bxudu

Then AAC 10 seed Tulane won after news broke that head coach Ed Conroy was getting fired right around halftime of the game. God bless Gary Parrish for reporting something that people gave him to report, but DUDE, how do you give Parrish the thumbs up to report it while the game is still going on???
Then Oregon blew a 4 point lead with 10 seconds left.
Before Buddy's near heroics, it looked like the night's craziest finish was in the Pac-12: https://t.co/KDE72mEMua pic.twitter.com/1Sadr7zBIC

Don't worry, the Ducks won in overtime to advance to today's Pac 12 title game.
If you read that tweet, I suppose you're wondering what "Buddy's near heroics" means. Well, it means this bananas shot that did not count.
Buddy Hield was SO CLOSE to a half-court game-winner in the Big 12 Tournament: https://t.co/9uXYpCBAxa https://t.co/cCNiU8liDR

That not counting is almost more disappointing because of Hield's celebration, which had him about five rows up into the Oklahoma cheering section on the sideline.
Oh, and we lost #1 seeds in the Big Ten and the SWAC.
A grand total of 14 automatic bids will get handed out today, although I suppose technically that Big West title game isn't going to end until Sunday morning in half the country. That's okay. That gives us nearly 15 straight hours of championship hoops on TV somewhere today, and that's okay by me. If you do need a break and you're in Milwaukee, may I suggest heading out to Valley Fields to watch Marquette lacrosse take on Robert Morris at 1pm?
