With Marquette's 2015-16 men's basketball season over, we've officially moved into the portion of the schedule that can easily be referred to as "Henry Watch." Freshman forward Henry Ellenson projects as a top 10 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, so one way or another, there will have to be some kind of announcement about what he's going to do for the 2016-17 season: stay in school or enter the draft.
On Thursday morning, Draft Express' Jonathan Givony passed this note along:
Been told Ellenson camp already scheduling agent meetings, and only a matter of time until we get an official announcement on him entering.

That makes sense, as we covered in depth earlier this week.
Of course, as the old saying goes, there's three sides to every story: your side, my side, and the truth. Here's John Ellenson, Henry's father, weighing in on the matter in the most delightfully Wisconsin father way possible.
Henry got home at 11 last night I haven't even spoken with them yet. Hold your horses Jonathan. https://t.co/AsuW3dUPAW

By the way, in Northern WI we don't have "camps" as you suggest, it's family, camps are for fishing swimming s'mores https://t.co/AsuW3dUPAW

For the record, Mr. Ellenson isn't referring to Henry dropping out of school. Marquette is taking an extended spring break this year because of where Easter fell on the calendar.
Anyway, those two tweets are absolutely wonderful. I'm now disappointed in myself for not following him before now, and disappointed that with Henry almost assuredly leaving after one season, his father will only be attached to the program officially for older brother Wally's senior season and that's it.
